Want to see The Clone Wars internationally? Sorry…

Fans outside the U.S.A. can’t watch The Clone Wars on StarWars.com, sadly. Canadian fans have CTV, but our friends outside of North America still have issues… And unfortunately it’s a situation outside of LFL control. Here’s what Pablo (Pabawan) had to say on a fan’s blog:

Where it airs is determined whether or not a broadcaster in a particular territory has picked up the show. Likewise, StarWars.com has to respect the territory of international broadcasters who did pick up the show, which is why access is limited as to who sees what online. It’s not a satisfactory answer, I know, but those are the realities of broadcast television.

Ahh, television industry. (And yes, I’ve heard there are ways around such restrictions, but you’re not going to learn them from us.)

Still owning the shame, now with Star Wars

And this is where I admit I totally miss the Anakin-free days. In an alt tag.

So last time, the traffic killed his server, but now he’s back with the third and final installment… Plus Zahn.

Abrams Brings Star Wars to Star Trek

I’m not sure if Abrams is simultaneously outraging or endearing die-hard fans of both Star Wars and Star Trek, but a recent interview for Empire Magazine has him wanting to bring some Star Wars into his movie installment of the Star Trek franchise.

TrekMovie.com takes out the relevant quotes.
